Founding Members - Lyn and Peter Kennedy
Peter and Lyn Kennedy first opened their doors in October 1994 under the banner of Peter Kennedy Realty. In 1997 our office joined the First National Group to lift the profile of the office and to take advantage of the high level of professionalism that First National provides.
It was no coincidence that Peter Kennedy First National soared to another level as Peter Kennedy was well respected by all and offered superior service which was honest and ethical.
Sadly, Peter passed away in 2007, after a 5 year battle with prostate cancer. Peter's legacy lives on in the office and many of our customers have remained customers for life, as the level of service remains our highest priority.

Principal - Lyn Kennedy

Lyn Kennedy has taken over where Peter left off and given the office a complete overhaul. The office is looking very swish with all new furniture, technology and a new and easy filing system. We have also updated all the computers and brought the office into the 21st century. It is an exciting period in our office with several new staff members. We have a fine team who compliment and help each other when required to do so. I guess you could say that the office that plays together stays together. Congratulations to all of our Award winners at the Sunshine Coast First National Awards evening, you deserve the best and thank you for looking after the office while I was away and looking after Peter. Now Peter Kennedy First National is a legacy to a good man who is still with us every day and keeping an eye on us.

Licensee - Jennifer Anne Watts

Jennifer came to the office when Lyn and Peter needed an Office Manager. Jennifer looked after the office as if it were her own, and when Lyn Kennedy returned after Peter’s death she help guide Lyn back into the Principals position.

Jennifer has since had a baby boy (Lochy) and taken maternity leave whilst still doing casual work for the office looking after accounts and Managerial Duties.

SHANNON EMBERY

Growing up as the daughter of one of the very first successful real estate owners on the Maroochy North Shore, I have been blessed with a passion for Real Estate from a very young age. My skills and knowledge as a Salesperson have been acquired and groomed by one of the most respected Salespersons and principals that the coast has seen, my father - Peter Kennedy.
Over the last 10 years I have been passionately involved in Peter Kennedy First National Real Estate in a variety of different roles, finding my place in the competitive and exciting world of Real Estate Sales.
I am a local resident of Pacific Paradise where I own my own home with my husband and adorable 3 year old son. I believe in our areas potential to help generate wealth and overall happiness for my customers through purchasing and selling both for investments and a place to call home. I also believe in my potential to help my clients achieve their objectives whilst enjoying the experience of buying and selling through reaching excellence in customer service.
I endeavour to help carry on the excellent name that Peter left behind with my knowledge of our area, experience in real estate, my honest and ethical manner and a friendly out-going nature to boot!

Sales Consultant – Lee-Anne Braid

Lee-Anne has also recently joined the Peter Kennedy First National team. Lee-Anne has lived and raised four children in the North Shore area for the past 9 years. her youngest son goes to the local school at Pacific Paradise State School and she also owns a property in Pacific Paradise as well. Lee-Anne commenced her sales career in Victoria over 23 years ago.

Lee-Anne has brought a wealth of sales knowledge to our office and has hit the ground running and is already building a repour with the clients in her area.

Property Manager - Michael Grassel
PROPERTY MANAGER OF THE YEAR 2008

Michael commenced his Property Management career in 1984 in Texas USA. He then relocated to Australia and continued with his Real Estate career after sitting for his Property Management License. Michael also has an extensive career in Body Corporate Management which is all relevant.

Michael also lectured at the Real Estate Institute of Northern Territory after writing four Body Corporate Management textbooks. This wealth of knowledge is now at your disposal. Michael also has a property portfolio of his own, some of which are rented out with Property Managers, which helps him to identify with our landlords and their needs. Recently Michael was awarded Property Manager of the Year at the Sunshine Coast First National Awards evening. Congratulations.

Property Manager Administrator – Anne Lawrence

Anne’s knowledge of Property Management extends back to Wagga Wagga which was her first job in 1973. Anne is also a long term resident of the Maroochy North Shore area and commenced working with our team in January 2008.

Anne is responsible for our interim inspections and reporting to the Landlords. Anne also takes on various other tasks so that Michael and Sue can concentrate on the more involved duties of Property Management.
